LIDL society has initiated the recall of canned mushrooms marketed under the brand Freshona.
Are concerned the following products, with a shelf life to the 31 December 2014 :
- Mushrooms canned 1st choice whole, 400 g
- Mushrooms canned 1st choice sliced, 400 g
- Mushrooms canned 1st choice whole, 3 x 200 g
The recall is due to a production problem at the supplier, which could lead to a lack of sterilization on the finished product. The total safety of the product cannot be guaranteed.
Therefore, buyers are invited not to consume the product and return it without delay to the LIDL store where they will be reimbursed, even without presentation of the sales receipt.
